Meat Industry Trainee

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Butcher. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing their skills and knowledge in the butchery industry through a 3-year apprenticeship program.
The program will cover various aspects of butchery, including boning, slicing, trimming, and portioning different types of meats. This hands-on experience will equip the apprentice with the necessary skills to succeed in this field.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent organisational skills, be able to problem-solve effectively, and be physically fit to handle substantial lifting and long periods of standing. Additionally, you should have strong communication skills and be well-presented, reliable, and punctual.
In addition to technical skills, we value attitude and teamwork. You will need to be willing to work flexible hours across 7 days a week, complete a variety of tasks, and have a willingness to learn and be motivated.
