Our team is currently seeking Trainee Meat Inspectors to join its ranks, providing opportunities for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect animal carcasses, meat and meat products to ensure compliance with government and industry standards regarding quality and health.
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout the inspection process.
- Complete a Certificate 3 or Certificate 4 in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) as part of your training.
- Collaborate with Process Partners to deliver exceptional products.
Requirements:
- A strong eagerness to learn and develop skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.
- Resilience and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding results and going above expectations.
- Good communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in related fields such as science disciplines, veterinary or animal science training.
- Knife skills including sharpening, boning, or slicing.
- Experience in meat processing, butchery, or small goods making.
