Job Title: Life Enrichment Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Life Enrichment Specialist in Folkestone. The successful candidate will have a passion for enhancing the quality of life of individuals, providing support with daily living activities, assisting with personal care when needed, and encouraging community access and socialisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals to increase independence and participate in daily living activities
  • Assist with minimal personal care where required
  • Encourage engagement with local communities and social activities
  • Support individuals with life skills development and recreational activities
  • Promote safety and wellbeing in a supportive environment
  • Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and engage in reflective practice

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
  • Resilient, flexible and composed approach
  • Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
  • Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma
  • Ability to support individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours
