Job Role

The CSSD Technician is a critical member of the healthcare team, contributing to the effective delivery of sterilisation services by processing surgical instruments according to the AS/NZS 4187. About You
  • AQF Certificate III in Sterilising Services and demonstrated experience in perioperative and CSSD departments are essential requirements.
  • You must have sound knowledge of various instruments, sterilising methods, and infection control principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to relate to people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and circumstances, are highly valued.
Key Requirements
  • DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Certificate (NPC) for unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups are mandatory.
About the Position
