About the Role

The University of South Australia is seeking a highly skilled Transition Support Manager to drive operational excellence in study plan development and support.

As a key member of the Integration Management Office team, you will provide leadership, mentoring, oversight, and management of interim teams responsible for coordinating the transition study plan development and transition support for Adelaide University (AU).

Key responsibilities include acting as a liaison between Student Experience and Administration (SEA) staff, Transition Team Leaders, and other domains, ensuring escalations are effectively managed, and handling day-to-day resource management for the AU Transition study plan development and transition enquiries.

This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards in transition study plan development and support while balancing stakeholder expectations, managing risks, and continuously monitoring and adhering to deadlines.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Provide leadership to motivate, coach, and guide Transition Study Plan and Transition Support teams to ensure a high-performance environment.
  • Resource Allocation & Scheduling: Oversee optimal resource allocation and scheduling for teams to meet project needs, aligning with performance metrics and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Lead coordination efforts with diverse stakeholders to ensure effective student transition support and study plan activities.
  • Risk Mitigation & Reporting: Identify, mitigate, and escalate project risks as needed; provide regular updates on resource utilisation, progress, and forecasts.
  • Continuous Improvement & Goal Setting: Establish clear goals for efficient resource use, implement continuous improvement strategies, and maintain effective feedback channels with stakeholders.
