Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support a major rail infrastructure project.

The successful candidate will lead the delivery of a strategic sourcing initiative within the Rail Network Renewals space, working closely with internal stakeholders across operations, legal, and finance.

This is a key contract role offering the opportunity to manage the full tendering lifecycle - from RFP development through to evaluation and contract award.

  • Manage RFP development, release, and evaluation.
  • Lead commercial assessments and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with governance and policy standards.
  • Coordinate internal approvals and contribute to contract finalisation.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing procurement for capital projects, strong Excel and commercial modelling skills, and confident autonomous tender management and negotiation abilities.

Additionally, they should have exposure to performance-based contracting models and current right to work in Australia.
