Card Payments Expert

We are seeking an expert to lead our Card Payments team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of card payments systems, including transaction switch and scheme integrations.

The role involves providing 2nd and 3rd line application support for card payments systems, analysing and troubleshooting transaction issues, and working closely with vendors and internal teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing our card processing systems to align with strategic digital initiatives and supporting releases, vendor fixes, and bug investigations.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high degree of analytical skill and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line application support for card payments systems
  • Analyse and troubleshoot transaction issues
  • Work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Enhance card processing systems to align with strategic digital initiatives
  • Support releases, vendor fixes, and bug investigations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of card payments systems, including transaction switch and scheme integrations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work closely with vendors and internal teams
  • Knowledge of Agile practices and incident/change management processes
  • Resilience and adaptable with the ability to manage change, conflict, and resolve problems
