Leisure and Lifestyle Officer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Leisure and Lifestyle Officer, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging program that promotes independence, learning new hobbies, and enabling social connections with other residents.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and deliver activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Develop a holistic activities program that fosters participation, learning, and socialization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of programs.
  • Manage schedules and distribute newsletters highlighting upcoming events.
  • Ensure a warm welcome to new residents by facilitating their transition into our community.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for improving the quality of life for seniors.
  • Previous experience in coordinating programs or events with a focus on resident-centered approaches.
  • Creativity in designing engaging events that promote FUN.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva.
  • Two COVID-19 vaccinations and current Police Check clearance.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
