Together let's redefine retirement living for senior Australians. The OpportunityThe Manors of Mosman retirement village is a welcoming community set amongst lush and manicured gardens and grounds, conveniently located in the prestigious harbourside suburb of Mosman. Home to 150+ independent living luxury homes, you will work collaboratively with residents to coordinate exciting events, activities and services for the residents within the community. In this fantastic community, you will motivate, engage and enable residents to participate in a wide range of experiences including physical, social and community-orientated activities every day, week and month This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has a background in working with seniors, or someone who is passionate about promoting independence and having some fun   This is a Permanent Full-Time position working Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm) What we offer:$37.35 p/h (equivalent to $73,803 per annum) + relevant Aged Care Award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuationSupport to use your creative flair to establish exciting activities and experiencesEmployee Referral Program and Employee Assistance ProgramDiscounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providersOpportunities for further career progressionBe part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living community Your WillCoordinate and deliver fun, inclusive and exciting events to our residents on a regular scheduleDeliver a holistic activities program that promotes independence, learning new hobbies and enabling social connectionsCollaborate and engage with key stakeholders such as our Resident Committee, local businesses and Aveo staff to deliver programs that builds participation Create schedules for all new events and distribute newsletters highlighting upcoming events Be the welcoming face to all new residents in the community by ensuring they are engaged and supported in their transition to our community.Complete general ad-hoc duties including (but not limited to): conducting feedback surveys, attending staff meetings, participating in networking events and general administrative tasks on the reception alongside the community manager What you will bringA genuine interest in improving the lives of seniors Previous experience in coordinating programs, events or activities with a resident-centred approachBe creative - we want someone to create FUN eventsCertificate IV in Leisure & Health (highly desired or willing to obtain)Current COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)Current Police Check clearance (required, but we can complete for you)Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (required or willing to obtain prior to commencement) Who we areAs a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience, Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
