Senior Engagement Coordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to coordinate and deliver engaging activities for seniors within a welcoming community.

  • Coordinate and deliver inclusive events to foster social connections among residents.
  • Develop a holistic activities program that promotes independence, learning new hobbies, and enables social interactions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver programs that encourage participation and engagement.

This role involves:

  1. Coordinating events, activities, and services for residents on a regular schedule.
  2. Delivering a comprehensive activities program that promotes independence, learning new skills, and social connections.
  3. Collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver programs that foster engagement and participation.
  4. Creating schedules for new events and distributing newsletters highlighting upcoming events.
  5. Ensuring seamless transitions for new residents by engaging them in community activities.
  6. Completing general administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of seniors.
  • Previous experience in coordinating programs, events, or activities with a resident-centered approach.
  • Creativity to develop fun and engaging events.
  • A Certificate IV in Leisure & Health is highly desired but not essential.
  • Current COVID-19 Vaccinations and Police Check clearance are mandatory.
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate is also required prior to commencement.
