Small Business Lending Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished commercial banking professional to join our team and assist small businesses in achieving their goals.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial lending, B2B sales, and financial analysis. They will possess strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder engagement abilities, and a passion for supporting small business customers.
Key Responsibilities- Originate and manage commercial lending solutions, asset finance, merchant services, and everyday banking products.
- Engage proactively with customers to understand their business needs and offer tailored financial solutions.
- Represent the bank within the local business community, building awareness of our proposition and hosting educational events.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen referral partnerships and enhance service delivery.
- Proven experience in commercial lending or B2B sales.
- Home lending experience and sound financial analysis skills.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Passion for small business customers or experience running a small business.
- FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation.
- Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2 or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
- Cert IV in Banking Services or equivalent (preferred).
