Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of complex projects and initiatives in Queensland.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reviews and developing responses to major development projects, including Environmental Impact Statements and key planning and infrastructure plans.
  • Manage timely, reasonable, and relevant planning outcomes by providing advice and leading the development of complex briefs to senior management on project risks and benefits.
  • Provide land use planning advice on matters to deliver integrated land use and transport outcomes in Queensland.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience and skills in town planning, including provision of advice and supporting negotiations on land use planning matters.
  • Able to work with stakeholders within your team and across external departments to achieve project outcomes.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, with ability to interpret and communicate technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to achieve quality results through professionalism, persistence, and effective resource management.
