Hotel Plumber Role

Overview

This exciting opportunity is available for a Hotel Plumber to join our team at the InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing fixtures and associated infrastructure are well maintained, providing an exceptional experience for our guests.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair all plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A Certificate III in Plumbing or higher qualification.
  • Experience working in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • An understanding of Queensland safety regulations and procedures.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and any other reporting tools used by the hotel.
