The company is seeking a qualified accountant to join its growing, fast-paced business.

This role will involve financial control, commercial finance, and strategic support.

Job Description

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role suited to someone ready to expand their scope beyond month-end and compliance into business partnering, board reporting, and strategic analysis.

  • Lead the month-end close and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Oversee compliance obligations (BAS, IAS, FBT, payroll tax).
  • Manage audit and tax relationships and prepare statutory reports.
  • Support board reporting and the development of management reporting packs.
  • Deliver financial analysis to support investment and business case decisions.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and 5-year planning model.
  • Monitor cashflow, working capital, and covenant compliance.
  • Assist in developing Power BI dashboards and enhancing reporting automation.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves leading the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and overseeing compliance obligations. Additionally, you will manage audit and tax relationships, prepare statutory reports, and support board reporting.

You will also deliver financial analysis to support investment and business case decisions, contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and 5-year planning models, and monitor cashflow, working capital, and covenant compliance.

Furthermore, you will assist in developing Power BI dashboards and enhancing reporting automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a qualified accountant with strong fundamentals in financial and management accounting.

Key qualifications include:

  • A CA/CPA qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting principles.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
