**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a strategic Financial Partner to join our high-performing team. As a key liaison between the finance function and operational leadership groups, you will provide expert financial support and guidance to enhance organisational performance and long-term financial sustainability.
This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for business partners with existing expertise to leverage their knowledge and experience into a dynamic and innovative environment.
The role involves collaborating with divisional and cost centre management to provide financial expertise and guidance on performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and funding assessments.
You will engage proactively with stakeholders to identify financial management issues and opportunities for improvement.
Typical duties include preparing accurate and insightful divisional performance reports on a monthly basis, participating actively in performance review meetings with divisional and cost centre management, and supporting ledger integrity and month-end and year-end closing processes.
Additionally, you will coordinate divisional budget cycle tasks, prepare regular divisional full-year forecasts, and maintain oversight of divisional funding arrangements.
The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications and a proven ability to contribute to strategic decision making and identifying opportunities for improved financial outcomes.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders through understanding of their needs and objectives, whilst demonstrating/displaying corporate values.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, negotiation, consultation, and change management skills, as well as the ability to meet deadlines and commitments and anticipate problems and identify solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:

- SUPPORT LEDGER INTEGRITY AND MONTH-END AND YEAR-END CLOSING PROCESSES.
- COORDINATE DIVISIONAL BUDGET CYCLE TASKS.
- PREPARE REGULAR DIVISIONAL FULL-YEAR FORECASTS.
- MAINTAIN OVERSIGHT OF DIVISIONAL FUNDING ARRANGEMENTS.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications.
- Proven ability to contribute to strategic decision making and identifying opportunities for improved financial outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, consultation, and change management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and commitments and anticipate problems and identify solutions.
- High level of proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience leveraging ERP (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Current membership of a recognised Australian accounting body (CA/CPA) is desirable.
**Benefits:
- Permanent position based at our corporate office in Newstead.
- Salary range: $111,403.69 - $119,335 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900.
