Job Title: CHSP Project Officer

This is an opportunity to work in a full-time position as a CHSP Project Officer. The role involves coordinating and administering Domestic Assistance and Home Meals services in line with CHSP guidelines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Referral Assessment and Client Intake: Manage client referrals, conduct assessments, develop Support Plans, and deliver menus and assist with meal selections.
  • Service Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate the delivery of Domestic Assistance and Home Meals services, prepare and manage weekly service schedules, and provide emergency meal delivery support when required.
  • Administrative and Invoicing Management: Review and verify contractor invoices, prepare and process invoicing records, monitor client payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors, respond to phone and email enquiries, and prepare and distribute client communications and reports.
  • Program Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure services are delivered in accordance with CHSP guidelines, support quality audits, and maintain compliance-related documentation.
  • Community Engagement and Promotion: Support community outreach, contribute to new client intake efforts, and represent the program in community events.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification in Community Services, Community Development or Aged Care, or a similar discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality customer service.
  • Experience of working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in CHSP, HCP, NDIS services or other community services.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations and dietary considerations for older people.
