Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Support Assistant to join our team in North Mackay. In this role, you will support clients in the Community Hub or as In Home Support Services to promote independence and manage complex behaviours.

About This Role

  • Work various shifts including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers (penalty rates apply)
  • Meet the physical requirements of some manual handling tasks
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a range of checks, including Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check, and open Driver's License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support services to clients in their homes or in the Community Hub
  • Develop and implement individualised plans to promote client independence
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
