Job Description:

We are excited to offer a highly sought-after casual Dietitian role to join our team. Working as part of a small Dietetics team, this role will be responsible for managing the nutritional needs of both inpatients and ambulatory patients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Promoting and providing dietetic and nutritional intervention across a range of inpatient wards, including oncology, surgical, general medicine and intensive care unit
  • Providing evidence-based nutrition intervention to ambulatory oncology patients
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care using a patient-centred approach
  • Actively participating in quality activities ensuring opportunities for improvement are actively explored and best practice is achieved

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years experience in an acute setting is essential. Experience in Oncology and ICU is also essential. A commitment to best practice and working within a multidisciplinary team is required. Well-developed time management, prioritisation and communication skills are also necessary.
