We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to provide high-quality advice and guidance on purchasing strategies.

  • 12-month non-ongoing or transfer opportunity available in Canberra.
  • Baseline Clearance Required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver timely and practical procurement advice, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure value for money in all purchasing activities.
  • Provide expert guidance on market approach, conducting searches, contract mechanisms, and panel arrangements.
  • Review procurement documentation, including proposals and contracts.
  • Contribute to the development of purchasing systems and strategies.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships and provide contract management advice.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Government (Procurement).
  • Knowledge of Resource Management Framework and Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
  • Relevant experience in procurement.

As a procurement professional, you will play a key role in supporting the department's purchasing needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality procurement services.
