Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a strategic advisor to join our team for an initial period, with the possibility of ongoing placement. The successful candidate will provide high-level advice and support to domestic and international engagements.

The role involves leading key thematic and geographical areas and providing support to our engagements across space and cyber domains, joint logistics, and national support.

The position requires developing and coordinating policy, as well as planning and executing international engagements up to 4-Star level to meet our strategic outcomes.

The role works independently but may collaborate with or lead an integrated team of professionals.

The Engagements and Events Directorate is a high-performing team within the Strategy and Governance Branch working under the direction of the Chief of Joint Capabilities and Deputy Chief of Joint Capabilities.
