Senior Care Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Manager in High Care to inspire and support our exceptional team, ensuring the highest standard of dignity, respect, and wellbeing for our participants. A natural leader with a heart for aged care or high care with high medical needs will drive our vision of people living their best life.

About the Role

The Senior Care Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Support Workers, providing guidance, supervision, and coaching. This role requires confidence in aged care and medication management, ensuring participant safety and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Support Workers, providing guidance, supervision, and coaching.
  • Display confidence in aged care and medication management, ensuring participant safety and wellbeing.
  • Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate in service plan development and implementation, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Build positive and collaborative team and house culture across both participants and support workers.

Candidates with experience in high care SILs, aged care, or medical backgrounds will excel in this role.

Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Disability or a related field.
  • Leadership experience within the disability sector.
  • Aged care or medical background in NDIS required.
  • Strong knowledge of disability support principles and practices.
  • Current first aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Understanding of NDIS framework and guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work hours including weekends and evenings.
