About the Role

Curtin University of Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our efforts in creating top-notch placements for students from a wide array of disciplines and universities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage program plans to achieve desired outcomes within budget and resourcing constraints.
  • Consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and with cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Construct clear and concise project reports.
  • Manage multiple and often competing tasks with attention to accuracy and detail within deadlines.
  • Supervise other staff and work effectively with a cross-functional team.
  • Exercise sound judgment in decision making.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualifications (or progress towards) and extensive relevant experience; or extensive relevant experience and expertise, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated high-level written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team.
  • Demonstrated critical analysis skills.
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous experience in health service management and/or in a tertiary environment.
Work Requirements
  • Criminal record check in accordance with the University's relevant procedure.
  • Working with Children Check (WWC) provide a valid WWCC card in accordance with University Policy.
  • Some travel may be required, either to the Bentley Campus or across the Goldfields region.
  • Ability to work outside of normal office hours when required.
