Accounts Payable Professional

This position entails a range of duties including processing invoices, liaising with subcontractors, and producing reconciliation reports.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as a methodical approach to work processes.

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Processing supplier invoices, employee-related expense claims, and third-party payments
  • Liaising with subcontractors and the project team to ensure efficient payments
  • Responding to supplier account queries and resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Producing monthly AP reconciliation report and ensuring it reconciles to supplier statements
  • Assisting with month-end closing reports and reconciliation
  • Project work and process improvements

The role is suited for individuals who are able to demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organisational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Key requirements:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in accounts payable
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • The ability to demonstrate a methodical approach to work processes
  • Integrity - must be able to demonstrate and maintain high ethical standards of conduct
  • To be able to work independently as well as a team player and meet strict deadlines
  • Experience working in construction or dealing with subcontractors is highly desired
