About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Community Liaison professional to manage and implement stakeholder engagement within our organization. One of your main responsibilities will be to establish and maintain landowner relationships, including access negotiations and compensation with affected stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain constructive landowner relationships, including access negotiations and compensation with affected stakeholders.
  • Ongoing liaison with community stakeholders, management of community complaints (in line with enterprise procedures) and reporting of major issues to our community engagement function.
  • Provide internal advice on external stakeholder considerations and restraints for consideration during project and operational planning and activities.
  • Work with our community engagement function in the creation of community engagement strategies and tactics as they relate to our systems.
  • Establish contact with landowners to negotiate access for required works.
  • Notification and liaison with neighbouring properties to advise of impacts of scheduled works.
  • Regular travel across our network.
About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor Degree in Communications or a relevant discipline, extensive experience in a similar role, and demonstrated experience and success working in partnership with residents, industry groups, supplier chain participants, and community organizations.

You will have a high level of effective communication, both written and verbal, with a diverse range of stakeholders, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal corporate and external groups, including property, legal and environment, cultural heritage departments, as well as industry bodies, key stakeholders, and local government.

You will also have exceptional negotiation and relationship building skills, and a willingness to commit to regular travel across our network.
