Supervisor of Horticultural Services

This is a permanent, full-time position that will lead the horticultural team.

The Supervisor of Horticultural Services will be responsible for liaising with external contractors and managing a commercial social enterprise. The role involves working directly with people with special needs, engaging them in work-based learning, skills development and building social relationships within the community.

The successful candidate must provide leadership, on-the-job training and support while managing the day-to-day operations of the gardens and grounds maintenance services. A strong knowledge of electrical power tools and non-electrical manual tools is essential.

  • Qualifications in horticulture are required
  • Demonstrated understanding and proven ability to select and use suitable tools and methods
  • Experience in the management and planning of building and grounds maintenance, including strong safety knowledge and skills
  • Horticultural experience

The successful candidate must also possess:

  • A current National Police Record Check
  • An International Police Check (if required)
  • A Working with Children Check (if required)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • A current driver's licence to drive in Australia
  • First Aid (HLTAID003) Certificate
