Job Summary:

As a Team Leader, you will oversee the efficient execution of tasks and operations in our organization. Your primary role will be to maintain and develop accurate records of operations and plans while working closely with the Project Manager.

  • Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and policies.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain and develop accurate records of operations and plans.
  • Oversee employees and relevant subcontract labor, providing guidance on job responsibilities and performance expectations.
  • Manage and perform daily and regular maintenance and minor repairs on plant and equipment.
  • Provide timely and accurate paperwork, ensuring seamless communication between teams.
  • Record and report damage, hazards, customer requests, and work practice concerns, fostering a culture of safety and transparency.
  • Teach, demonstrate, and guide employees on the job, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in horticulture or a related field.
  • Driver's license.
  • Chemical applicators certificate.
  • Level 2 First Aid certification.
  • Proven experience in parks and gardens maintenance operations.
  • Expertise in horticulture maintenance, including knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to set targets to prescribed deadlines and prioritize work programs effectively.
