Senior Credit Operations Specialist

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing credit operations, ensuring all business and client activities align with the governance and risk management framework. This includes adhering to credit reporting schedules, building relationships with solicitors and valuers, and performing key risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage credit operations, including stress testing and periodic risk rating of operating accounts.
- Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) verification and facilitate the opening of term loan accounts, cash credit, buyers credit, and overdraft accounts.
- Update stock statements in Finacle for cash credit accounts and update interest rates.
- Assist in preparing process notes for loan proposals and trade credit.
- Monitor repayment of loan accounts and prepare credit-related statements for submission to regulators and head office.
- Test information security controls through systematic testing programs.
- Escalate and report any information security control deficiencies to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in banking, specifically in credit operations.
- Work authorization for Australia required.
