This role requires a professional with the ability to deliver integrated energy solutions that build a resilient, intelligent, and flexible energy infrastructure. The primary responsibility of this position will be to ensure battery energy storage systems operate seamlessly through field service activities, technical support, and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field service activities as per long-term service agreements.
  • Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance of BESS.
  • Support project teams during commissioning of battery energy storage systems.
  • Address and report warranty and technical issues and propose product improvements.
  • Maintain customer relationships through effective communication.
  • Prepare and present service reports with recommendations.
  • Act as a technical advisor to customer meetings.
  • Write service work reports and maintain documentation.
">Requirements

This is a challenging role requiring a professional with strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Electrical Trade.
  • Valid A Grade NSW Electrical license.
  • Preferably 2 to 4 years' experience in battery energy storage systems, renewable energy, power systems design and communication networks.
  • Knowledge of LV and MV systems, EMS, battery modules, inverter technology, online platform communication systems, industrial networks and protocols, PLC and control systems, PV systems, protection relays, variable frequency drives, HVAC, fire alarm and suppression systems, advanced firewall and router programming, AS/NZS 3000:2018 electrical installations.
  • Experience in HV Switching Operations.
  • Experience in BESS or Renewable Energy installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning.
  • Detail-oriented, project management mindset, good collaboration skills, proficient in MS Office, excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel at least 70% of the time.
  • Must be authorized to work in Australia without sponsorship.
