We are seeking a dedicated Science Department leader to drive academic and personal growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership and management of the Science Department
  • Teach a range of Science subjects at the secondary level, fostering students' curiosity and critical thinking skills
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and assessment methods
  • Monitor student progress and achievement, and provide targeted support and guidance to ensure their success
  • Contribute to the broader life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities and school events
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in Science education
Requirements
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with relevant authorities
  • Extensive experience teaching Science at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a department and mentor teaching staff
  • Passion for Science and commitment to inspiring students to explore and understand the natural world
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to stay up-to-date with latest teaching and learning strategies
