- Design and deploy hybrid infrastructure across multiple regions, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver new features and products, leveraging your expertise in large-scale distributed systems and networking stacks.
- Automate repetitive tasks, reducing toil and improving server setup processes worldwide.
- Develop meaningful metrics, alerts, and dashboards to enhance monitoring capabilities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide infrastructure support for new initiatives.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 system performance.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-regional Linux-based hybrid infrastructures.
- Strong understanding of core internet building blocks like DNS, HTTP, and TLS.
- Bare-metal expertise, including setup, operation, security, and debugging.
- A growth mindset with a desire to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
- Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring systems like metrics, alerts, logs, and runbooks.
- Solid networking skills, including VLANs, routing, TCP/IP, DHCP, and IPv6.
- Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like MariaDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, or Cassandra.
