About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Civil Engineer
to contribute to high-quality engineering solutions.
This challenging opportunity exists for a skilled professional to join our team, working on diverse and impactful projects across defence, building services, transport, and civil infrastructure.
The selected candidate will have a strong understanding of client needs and drivers, as well as experience in planning and detailed roads design.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake planning and detailed roads design, including reporting and recommendations.
Review and/or verify roads designs undertaken by others.
Provide direction, mentoring and support to bid teams and project staff.
Supervise, mentor and develop team members.
Review deliverables to ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance standards.
Develop and maintain client relationships and industry knowledge, maximising business development opportunities.
Skills & Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
Familiarity with Australian Standards and industry guidelines for roads and civil infrastructure.
Current chartership to Engineers Australia.
Ability to prepare and check design calculations using manual methods or computer applications such as 12d, OpenRoads, and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical skills, contributing to innovative solutions for complex challenges.
