Job Title: Cloud Cost Optimization Specialist

The role of a Cloud Cost Optimization Specialist is to drive efficiency and reduce costs across our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing cloud spend, optimizing SaaS platform usage, and tracking AI-related service consumption.

This is a strategic opportunity to influence smarter technology investments and unlock greater value from every dollar spent in the cloud. As a key member of our FinOps team, you will work closely with data analysts and engineers to develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into cloud expenditures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement cost-effective strategies for cloud infrastructure and SaaS platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze cloud spend to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into cloud expenditures.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to allocate costs accurately and identify savings opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on cost-saving initiatives and usage trends.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cost management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience in a FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or SaaS Optimization role.
  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
