Conference and Events Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Conference and Events Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a career with one of Australia's leading hotel operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining a database of key contacts and clients for conference purposes.
  • Prepare and follow up on conference proposals to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Provide assistance in formulating quotations for conferences and group proposals covering venue, function, menu, and accommodation costs.
  • Complete organization of conference activities from confirmation to post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate familiarization and site inspection activities to showcase our venues.
  • Produce and distribute hotel sales collateral materials, such as conference kits and direct mail pieces.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly banquets event order meetings to stay updated on events.
  • Ensure coordination between conferencing and other relevant departments to guarantee event preparations.
  • Maintain regular liaison with the F&B Manager and C&E Manager to achieve conference department objectives.
