Event Planning Specialist

At our organization, we're dedicated to making waste a thing of the past. We're seeking an Event Planning Specialist to join our team and help deliver high-quality services with sustainability at the forefront.

This role is fast-paced and hands-on – you will coordinate event schedules, staff, and logistics to ensure every event runs smoothly. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering events, working closely with the operations manager and supervisors to ensure our team and clients are fully supported.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate staff and event schedules to ensure seamless execution
  • Provide detailed event briefs to supervisors and complete staff inductions/toolbox talks
  • Assist with equipment and consumables management to ensure events are fully prepared
  • Monitor and support on-site staff during events, resolving issues quickly
  • Contribute to post-event debriefs and reporting to drive improvements
  • Deliver excellent communication and customer service to event clients
  • Promote sustainable values in all event operations
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years' experience in events, hospitality, or operations coordination
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with staff and clients
  • Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends
