The Electoral Commission of South Australia is seeking a skilled Logistics Event Coordinator to manage the Central Processing Centre (CPC) and coordinate access to services for key election facilities and locations.

This role involves managing critical service delivery functions, including declaration vote management, polling place ICT setup, warehousing, transport and logistics operations, scrutiny and count activities, and vote processing activities.

As a Logistics Event Coordinator, you will:

  1. Lead the day-to-day facility and site management of the CPC, ensuring all critical service delivery functions have the required infrastructure to operate efficiently.
  2. Manage the engagement of external contractors and/or agents to undertake CPC facility maintenance as required.
  3. Ensure compliance with work health and safety related activities for the CPC, including fire safety components, first aid arrangements, WHS procedures, and evacuation plans.
  4. Coordinate security procedures and respond to emergency callouts to maintain a secure and safe environment at all times.

You will work closely with operational project managers and external service providers to manage assets and facilities effectively.

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They will be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
