Project Coordinator

Are you a highly organized and skilled project coordinator looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team

  • About the Role
  • We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Coordinator to coordinate the night shift projects that have been awarded to us. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all stock and / or equipment are ordered in line with allowances made in the tender process, managing timelines, ensuring quality control and safety documentation, communicating with customers, and managing the project budget.
  • This is a full-time position working out of our Bendigo workshops, with a salary range to be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage project timelines and ensure timely completion
  2. Coordinate with stakeholders to achieve project goals
  3. Monitor and control project costs
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports
  5. Provide regular updates to the project manager and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with ISO 9001 accreditation
  • Experience in managing projects including costings, purchasing and staff
  • Experience in customer management and direct customer interaction
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels - staff, management & customers
  • Quality focused, with a high attention to detail
  • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Hold a current unrestricted Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Hold a current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to pass Rail Industry medical if / as required
  • Ability to travel to various maintenance depots from time to time, as required

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
