HSEQ Coordinator Job Description

Our client, a reputable construction company with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and integrity, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSEQ Coordinator to join their team.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct safety, quality, and environmental inspections to ensure consistent adherence to site setup procedures.
  • Assist staff, site teams, and contractors in complying with relevant legislation, standards, and contractual arrangements.
  • Support the HSEQ Manager in delivering the Safety Management System, including policies, procedures, manuals, and practices.
  • Act as a company representative for all WHS matters.
  • Proactively assist work teams in implementing and embedding health and safety work plans.
  • Keep up-to-date with legislative changes and continuously review and improve policies and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Provide workplace safety, health, environmental, and quality support and advice to the Senior Management Team and staff.
  • Assist in assurance and audit activities within the company.
  • Contribute to the development, review, and monitoring of the HSEQ Plan and objectives and targets.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Cert. IV in workplace safety.
  • Knowledge of HSEQ processes and previous experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated unwavering commitment to health and safety.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Related industry experience, particularly in commercial and civil construction (highly desirable).
  • Current driver's license.
  • National Construction General Induction Card (All States Recognized).
