About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Review Specialist to join our team at ISN. As a key member of our HSEQ team, you will be responsible for providing occupational safety-related support to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience in conducting desktop audits and reviewing contractor HSEQ documentation. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate compliance gaps and regulatory requirements to clients.

Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety Review Protocols: Research, develop, and enhance health and safety review protocols as necessitated by legislated and industry practice requirements.
  • Client Support: Assist and support ISNetworld contractor/supplier clients; meet clients at their locations as needed.
  • HSEQ Documentation Review: Review contractor HSEQ documentation and processes, and communicate compliance/gaps in regard to regulatory requirements.
  • Desktop Audits: Perform desktop audits of health and safety programs and/or other HSE documentation.
  • Review Protocol Development: Coordinate various review protocol development and implementation initiatives.
  • Sales Meetings: Attend sales meetings with your Business Development teammates to serve as the HSEQ subject matter expert.
  • Resource Development: Research, develop and author various resources and reference documents for customers and prospects.
  • Industry Monitoring: Participate in industry monitoring, HSE professional organisations and other opportunities to continue personal and professional growth.
  • Process Improvement: Continually re-evaluate HSEQ offerings and processes to provide superior service to customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or related field) from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in an HSEQ role.
  • Certification: Recognised safety certification or equivalent preferred.
