This role offers the opportunity to work in the curatorial section of a leading cultural institution, conducting research and making recommendations for acquiring material for the library's collection.
The position is responsible for undertaking research, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and drafting recommendations for delegate approval.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Candidates should ideally hold qualifications or experience in the Arts, Humanities, or Social Science fields.
- Proficiency in learning digital systems is essential for efficient and effective deployment in the workplace.

About the Role
As a Senior Library Officer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the library by contributing to organisational reform and working collaboratively with your team to achieve this goal.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Making selection decisions to acquire material for the library's collection based on established procedures and guidelines.
- Undertaking research and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to inform these decisions.
- Drafting recommendations for delegate approval.
Requirements
Qualifications or experience in the Arts, Humanities, or Social Science fields are highly desirable. Proficiency in learning digital systems is also essential.
