OverviewAPS 4 – Senior Library Officers, Curatorial and Collection Research at the National Library of Australia.
The role supports organisational reform and works collaboratively with the team to shape the Library's future.
This is an ongoing role with a non-ongoing variant until 30 June 2026.ResponsibilitiesWork to established procedures and guidelines in making selection decisions to acquire material for the Library's collection.Undertake research, liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, and draft recommendations for delegate approval.Collaborate with team members to balance competing priorities and contribute to interpretation and access initiatives as part of Library services.Qualifications and SkillsIdeal qualifications or experience in the Arts, Humanities or Social Science fields.Adroitness with learning and deploying digital systems to support work processes effectively.Eligibility and DiversityWe encourage and welcome applications from people with disability, First Nations Peoples, those from the LGBTIQA+ community, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, those in the veteran community and mature age people.How to ApplyPlease read the Role Statement to learn more about the Branch, Section and role.
