Senior Library Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the efficient operation of the library, providing full-range services to internal and external users.

Plan, develop, and implement library digitisation projects to align with departmental goals.

Provide technical services for the operation of the library, including the management of the SirsiDynix EOS Library Management System.

Oversee expenditure records to support reconciliation and reporting.

Actively participate as part of the management team for effective planning and provision of library facilities and services.

Represent the organisation at various forums.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Be an Australian citizen
  • Hold a recognised tertiary library degree and be eligible for Association Membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)

The successful candidate will require strong leadership skills, strategic thinking and excellent communication abilities. They must also possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
