Senior Library and Information Services Professional

The Australian Institute of Criminology seeks a detail-oriented Library and Information Officer to support its mission. The successful candidate will work as part of the library and information services team, providing research and information resources support, publications management, and grants administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Library: A wide range of tasks including cataloguing, indexing and abstracting, document supply, acquisitions, circulation and client services support.
- Data Integrity: Assisting with record keeping and data integrity requirements, publications support, and administrative support for the AIC's publications program.
- Grants and Events: Support with administrative tasks related to the grants program, assistance with events including administration, preparation, online moderation, and set up and teardown.
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience in a range of library tasks, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly as a member of a small team.
Essential Qualifications:- Tertiary library qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a minimum security clearance.
