Urgent Care Nurse Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Urgent Care Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring all patients who present to the Urgent Care Service receive prompt and effective care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage of all patients who present to the Urgent Care Service
  • Conduct comprehensive and accurate nursing triage
  • Act promptly for any triaged patients requiring emergency escalation or due to deterioration
  • Perform procedural work such as suturing and plastering
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic Urgent Care environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse
  • Must be available evenings and weekends
  • Previous experience in triage within an emergency department, remote nursing, or ICU is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in acute care settings
