Support Worker Job

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team of caring individuals dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of older Australians.

Our Support Workers deliver personalised support for clients, ensuring they feel empowered and cared for through services and activities tailored to their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices. These may include:

  • Help with errands around the home, including cleaning, washing, ironing and vacuuming.
  • Support with personal hygiene and showing, grooming and dressing.
  • Assisting with shopping and meal preparation.
  • Monitoring medication.
  • Scheduling and attending appointments.
  • Providing companionship and engaging in social activities.

Client locations across Brisbane's Southside and Logan areas.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A warm and caring nature.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • A positive and practical attitude.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

You will also need to be available to work 3 days per week.
