About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and sales-driven individual to join our Power Technique Service team as a Business Development Manager. This is a hands-on, business development role within a supportive team, requiring regular local and domestic travel and occasional international travel to ensure sales support and development in this region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver on Marketing/Territory plans to support revenue growth within our direct and indirect channels to market.
  • Utilise consultative selling techniques to achieve sustainable, profitable sales and market share growth.
  • Assume end-to-end sales responsibilities from generating enquiries, customer visits, understanding technical applications, quotes, T&Cs, and associated operational sales aspects as required.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing both direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Experience in sales planning, territory management, distributor management, and Key Account Management.
  • Sound understanding of effective consultative selling techniques, market analysis, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Compressed Air Systems, Dewatering Pumps, and Power Generation products.
  • A technical degree and/or mechanical trade qualification (desired but not essential).
  • Extensive experience selling Parts and Service products (service contracts, fixed price plans etc.).
  • High level of analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong PC skills; Microsoft 365 products (Outlook, Office, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using SAP CRM and ERP platforms.
  • Current Valid Australian Drivers' License.
  • Available to travel interstate regularly and occasional travel overseas.
