Position Overview
In response to our expanding operations, PHSA is looking for a qualified Rehabilitation Counsellor or Registered Psychologist to conduct one-time vocational evaluations across various schemes, including Workers Compensation and Life Insurance.
This position entails interviewing individuals recovering from injuries, assessing suitable job opportunities, exploring the labor market, preparing reports, and collaborating with healthcare providers as necessary.
As this role focuses solely on assessments, it is ideal for those who prefer one-off evaluations. Experience in life insurance assessments is highly valued.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in vocational and/or employability assessments
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Workers Compensation, Comcare, and/or life insurance
- Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and/or membership with ASORC/RCAA
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
