About the Opportunity

Programmed Facility Management is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our Minesite Village Management Team as a relief chef. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an essential team that provides soft services to a well-known Mining Company in North Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety practices, adhering to HACCP guidelines and procedures.
  • Produce high-quality, nutritious, and well-presented meals for the residents of the village.
  • Design and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements.
  • Maintain the kitchen premises and food production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist other departments as needed to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Valid C Class License
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Certificate III or IV Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
  • Ability to pass comprehensive pre-employment medical, including instant drug and alcohol screening
  • Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
  • Previous experience at a minesite village (mandatory)
