Lead Educator Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Educator to join our team. As a key member of our centre, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our children.

This exciting opportunity allows you to lead daily operations in your room, ensuring high-quality education, strong routines, and a warm, inclusive environment.

You will work closely with educators to foster teamwork and professional growth, plan and implement high-quality learning programs aligned with EYLF and NQS, and maintain effective routines and safe, organised, engaging learning spaces.

Daily Operations

You will be responsible for leading daily operations in your room, including:

  • Planning and implementing high-quality learning programs that meet the needs of all children
  • Maintaining effective routines and safe, organised, engaging learning spaces
  • Fostering teamwork and professional growth among educators
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading educators in your room to achieve high-quality outcomes
  • Ensuring compliance with EYLF and NQS standards
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with families and stakeholders
  • Supporting centre-wide initiatives and projects
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience as a Lead Educator or similar role
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Passion for creating inspiring learning environments
