About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Early Childhood Education professional to lead our Glenwood service as a Room Leader. As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for guiding daily operations, ensuring high-quality education, and creating a warm environment that fosters individuality, creativity, and lifelong learning.

Your role will involve building connections with families, supporting your team, and delivering engaging programs that cater to 90 children in three learning rooms.

This opportunity allows you to shape a learning environment from the start by planning, implementing, and evaluating programs according to the EYLF and NQS, while maintaining effective routines and a safe, organised, and engaging learning space.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide educators in your room, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality learning programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS.
  • Maintain efficient routines and a secure, well-organised, and engaging learning area.
  • Champion the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families and keep them informed of their child's progress.
  • Support the centre's culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Room Leader or interest in taking on a leadership role
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Child Protection training/certificate
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Passion for creating inspiring, engaging learning environments
