Key Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic partnerships that fuel Velocity's success by developing and executing business growth strategies.
  • Lead and inspire the business development team to deliver ambitious growth targets, drive market share, and achieve long-term partner success.
  • Design and execute Velocity's business development strategy to expand and diversify the partnership portfolio.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships that expand the Velocity ecosystem and align with long-term strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years sales/sales leadership experience selling into key sectors, ideally with a background in loyalty, financial services (specifically cards or payments) or B2B ecosystems.
  • Track record of success in securing and delivering multi-million-dollar partnerships, from lead generation through to contract execution.
  • Strategic sales and negotiation experience, including the management of complex, high-value commercial agreements.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and C-Suite audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build, nurture, and maintain long-term C-suite level relationships.
